Since ERSTE BANK der oesterreichischen Sparkassen AG started the expansion in Hungary, our company ERSTE BANK INVESTMENT HUNGARY Ltd. (EBIH Ltd.) has made serious efforts to become the leading brokerage firm of the Hungarian capital market. EBIH Ltd. is owned 100% by Erste Bank Hungary. Initially, EBIH was focusing on Anglo-Saxon and German institutional clients, but due to rapid expansion it turned into a diversified financial service provider to all segments of domestic investors as well, within a short period of time.

Our market-leading role could be proven best by the fact, that EBIH has generated the greatest turnover in the prompt market segment of the Budapest Stock market for four consecutive years. Furthermore, market participants voted the prize of 'The Best Investment Service Provider of the year', acknowledging our expertise.

Due to our client-oriented attitude, EBIH has achieved remarkable results in the market segment of government bond and T-Bill. Since initiating the so-called primary dealing system, our market share has grown significantly, thanks to our expanding client base, resulting in joining the elite of the Top 3 primary dealers.

By continuously developing our product portfolio we have managed to provide all possible sorts of financial products to our clients. We are especially proud to be supported by the almost 200 year-old, financially sound Austrian ERSTE Group, and a highly professional human resource.
